GDPR & MArketing regulations

Issue

With the GDPR deadline in May 2018, Verisk GeoInformation approached Brick to carry out a full GDPR audit of their sales and marketing function in order to be compliant. Verisk GeoInformation is a division of Verisk Analytics, a multinational corporation serving customers in insurance, energy and specialized markets, and financial services.

Outcome

Verisk Head Office had set a strict project plan for the audit and implementation of any changes in relation to GDPR. Brick worked alongside this plan to conduct a thorough audit of the sales and marketing teams. The project extended into working with the IT team to define processes for data retrieval of any Personal Identifiable Information, producing GDPR compliant privacy policies, cookie policies and website terms and conditions as well as running a full email marketing campaign to all Verisk’s email subscribers in the lead up to the deadline.

“Natalie was extremely helpful in the lead up to GDPR, making sure all parts of the business were aware of the issues and implemented changes to processes where necessary”
